On a wet winters day what to do in the Peak District can be tough. Well here is a little gem.
Caudwells Mill, in Rowsley near Bakewell. The Mill has a lovely coffee shop, a few independent artisits, a shop where you can buy local artisits wares and also a great selection of flour from the working mill.
There is also a free museum that you can visit that has loads of old machinery from throughout the mills history.
I have been a few times and do enjoy having a wander around. From here you can also pop across the road and visit Peak Village owned by Chatsworth House.
