I used to live in Monyash, which is a stones throw from Lathkill Dale. I walked the dale many times and through the seasons it has something to offer. Although there is a rocky area that can be tricky underfoot in wet weather.
The River Lathkill winds its way through most of the Dale, Lathkill Dale is a limestone dale and the upper part is a National Nature Reserve.
You can access from Monyash or Over Haddon.
