Well, we didn’t expect Snow here in the Peak District in November but there you go. We had holiday guests at the farm and not only did we have snow but the power lines went down late Friday night. We had to invite all the guests into the farmhouse, lit the log burner and cooked on the indian firebowl in the howling wintry weather!!!! Oh well the life of a holiday accommodation owner in the Peak District is never a dull moment.
We lit the candles and battery powered fairy lights strung around the kitchen table. The guests all said they had a wonderful memorable experience, well it was certainly memorable. A lovely bunch of people from different locations and walks of life.
I only managed to grab a few photos in between snow shovelling, melting snow for water, cooking and making cups of tea and coffee on the small camping gas burner.
