The first day of the year that I hear the haunting call of the Curlew is one of the favourite days of the year. We have at least one pair that nest in the fields around where we live and these amazing looking birds are always on my list to try and photograph. So you will hopefully see some more this year. The down side is I have to wait a few months yet.
Well these will have to do until I capture more.
